About JDB

Founded in 2004 by James Davies the ensemble have a diverse portfolio of music, and are able to offer a unique variety of performances, ranging from small trumpet fanfares to larger brass ensemble work by bringing in additional colleagues. As an ensemble JDB perform at an international level and each of the individual players has trained with the UKs leading orchestras and finest Music Conservatoires in the world.

All the members are young working professionals and give the ensemble a vibrancy and youth that is not often found in this field, and part of the incentive in creating this group was to inject an element of fun and informality back into chamber music thereby giving very dynamic performances whether that be at a recital, private function or an educational workshop.
